It's hard to change gender in private! My style is not gender-challenging: I regard myself as just one of the ladies of the church, so to speak -- I identify as Just a Woman, not as a Gender Crosser. I think of myself as mainly a professor and writer and friend and dogowner and churchgoer (not necessarily in that order!).
