Dear friends,

It has taken many months of work, but the TransFaith Network is begun.  You can help it to grow by joining in the conversation!

When I re-launched TransFaith Online two years ago (fall 2007), it began a wonderful journey on which I have had the privilege of meeting many, many transgender people of faith, as well as our family members, friends and allies.  Because we are so divided by both geography and faith tradition, I quickly realized that a more interactive space would be useful in helping people to connect with each other -- instead of just with me. 

I also want to offer a huge thank you to the Carpenter Foundation and the AHS Foundation for their commitment to empowering transgender people of faith.
