Transfaith at Arch Street United Methodist Church

Taking advantage of the 2017 Creating Change Conference being in town, the Rev Robin Hynicka has invited Li Hooper and Louis Mitchell to engage the Arch Street United Methodist congregation.

  • 8:30am - Li Hooper will be preaching at the early morning, informal service
  • 10:00am - Li Hooper and Louis Mitchell will lead Adult Sunday School
  • 11:00am - Louis Mitchell will lead the regular, traditional service

Both speakers are long-time, nationally known trangender faith leaders. Li Hooper server as transgender community organizer for the United Methodist Alliance for Transgender Inclusion. Louis Mitchell serves as senior program developer for Transfaith.

Arch Street UMC is also providing space for a Transfaith's Networking Dinner Thursday night and a very special multi-faith workshop by J Mase III Saturday afternoon.
